Databases, oh my. After a meeting I decided to ask my staff which databases they use at Lincoln City Libraries, what types of questions they are answering, and just to comment in general. After receiving about 10 I knew it would be a tabulating nightmare. Then Sean comes to my rescue and designs a survey on survey monkey that does the tabulating. We sent it out and await the results. We will resend it in six months or so. Now my questions is "How long will it take for technology answers to become MY first choice of problem solving???" I will get there.
PS Gertie went for a five mile walk yesterday and slept the rest of the day - Hurrah! Julie

Hey Julie, would you be able to share a summary of your responses? I think it would be interesting to see what types of question and which databases folks are using.
